Great Eastern Cutlery has went back in time and produced brands that were known for quality early last century. Northfield UN-X-LD and Tidioute Cutlery are two brands easily recognized by the older collectors of the hobby. Great Eastern Cutlery has went to great lengths to reproduce these brands in a fashion that would do them justice.

They also make a namesake brand of Great Eastern Cutlery, which is their stainless product line. From the old Cyclops Specialty Steels building in Titusville PA their small staff makes knives one at a time with the skill and quality of a past generation.

Great Eastern was brought to life in 2006 by two well known figures in the cutlery industry, Bill Howard and Ken Daniels. With 60 years of experience in production, marketing, and supplying pocket knives; these two had no idea how quickly their product would take off with collectors and users alike.

The Northfield Cutlery and Tidioute Cutlery trademark pocket knives are produced in 1095 steel with a perfect heat treat every time. They take a very sharp edge and maintain it with ease. Great Eastern Cutlery branded knives are the stainless series; the general production series are all 440C with a heat treat to rival any in the world.
